Needle Drop is a browser-based party game where a song is played and players place it on a music timeline by guessing its release year, with optional bonus questions about the artist. Hosting requires an account; guests can join a room from their own device without registering. Playback of full tracks requires the host to connect their own Spotify Premium account; otherwise short preview clips are used.

You must be of legal age to enter a contract, or have permission from a parent or guardian. If you accept these terms on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, keep your login credentials confidential, and you are responsible for all activity under your account.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Needle Drop for personal, social gameplay within the plan you have selected. You must not:

• use the service unlawfully or for fraud, spam or harassment;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or use offensive nicknames or content;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the service — no malware, probing, scraping, automated access, or circumvention of technical or plan limits;
• reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or sublicense the service;
• re-broadcast, record or publicly perform music streamed through the service in breach of the applicable music provider's terms.

Playback relies on third parties such as Spotify and public preview APIs. Your use of Spotify is governed by your own agreement with Spotify, and you need an active Spotify Premium subscription for full-track playback. We do not control track availability and cannot guarantee that any specific song can be played.

We retain all rights, title and interest in Needle Drop, including its software, game design, question content, documentation, name and branding. Music, cover art and artist information remain the property of their respective rights holders. If you believe content in the service infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and remove it where appropriate; repeat infringement leads to account termination.

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that trivia, release years or metadata are always accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This does not affect mandatory consumer rights you have under Swedish or EU law.

Paid access is sold as a timed pass (for example 24 hours) or as lifetime access. Prices are shown in the checkout including applicable tax. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by Paddle and are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for how to request a refund.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where reasonably possible, in the event of a material breach of these terms, non-payment or chargeback, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time. On termination your access ends; you can request a copy or deletion of your account data as described in the Privacy Notice.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, and our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the service or your breach of these terms.

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by Swedish law and disputes are subject to the Swedish courts, without affecting your mandatory rights as a consumer in your country of residence.
